The announcement of the new event left fans feeling uncertain, as the unveiling and release of the new iPhone 15 had already occurred a couple of months ago in September. However, the new event did not disappoint, unveiling the two new Apple products, the MacBook Pro and iMac. These two new pieces of tech will be released supporting the new M3 processing chips which we will dive into throughout this blog.

So, let’s take a look at the event highlights, keeping you updated in case you missed out, we have plenty to catch up on, so let’s get right into it.

The new MacBook will feature the latest M3 chip processor.

What are the new features of the new iMac?

Another release Apple fans were expecting was the release of a new iMac with 24” screen. Because it’s been over 2 years since a big iMac update was put into place, it again, wasn’t a complete shock to hear about the product's latest upgrade. The hardware of the new iMac will remain the same, with the device being available in the same colours as previously also, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue and silver.

Although the iMac on the outside is more or less identical, there is one new feature interiorly which will be the M3 Processor being added to the device. Where fans have the choice between an 8-core GPU and a 10-coreGPU.

 New apple m3 chip 2023:

Although the announcement of these two new products is very exciting. There is also another aspect to both pieces of tech that we cannot ignore. That’s the latest M3 Processing chips, the M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max. The M series chips have been available since 2020, and the third instalment of these chips brings a 3-nanometer process, packing more transistors into a smaller space enhancing both speed and efficiency. But what is Apple's latest M Series chip?

Is M3 chip good?

Dynamic Caching Enables processor to allocate memory for each task dynamically.
Ray Tracing Benefits graphics, as game developers can utilise it to accurately illustrate lighting elements like reflections and shadows.
Mesh Shading Also benefits graphics, helping to visually elaborate scenes within games to appear smoother without skips.
